About Us
- We are enthusiasts for, and have a particular interest in, Halesworth’s transport history
We have practical, hands-on experience in Heritage Railways, and a range of the skills needed to make the project a success - We believe that Halesworth’s railways (and the Blyth Navigation before them) were essential to the town’s growth – and that a revival of as much as possible of the original infrastructure will be very beneficial to the town
- We have set up the Halesworth to Southwold Narrow Gauge Railway Society to emphasise for the first time the huge importance of Halesworth as a railway hub with its links to London and the Suffolk coast, an importance neglected up until now.
