The Halesworth Narrow Gauge Railway Society was formed in April 2018. We are committed to the restoration of the historic narrow gauge railway link in Halesworth and the Blyth Valley for the benefit of the residents of Halesworth (and its visitors), preserving it for present and future generations to enjoy.
Anyone who is interested in restoring the railway in Halesworth is very welcome indeed, including current and ex-members of the Southwold Railway Trust. An online forum, newsletter and social events will be promoted as the group grows.
All donations are being applied to our Trackbed Fund. It is vital that we secure sections of the trackbed as and when they become available. Please give generously.
