10 Feb Works at Blythburgh Station
Having obtained the owner’s permission to do so, we have continued to clear the bracken at Blythburgh Station in preparation for reinstating the platform and track there. One of our members, Mike M, has made a very fine replica station lamp and post with a shelf which accommodated it. Mike is pictured on the site of the platform and the post will be put in place permanently, once the platform is complete. We also also intend to put in place a replica station sign on the platform.
